Every year we have around 450 guys attend our men’s retreat at The Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove. It is one of the highlights of our men’s ministry and sells out within days of us opening up registration. Over the 10-plus years we’ve held this event, God has given us the privilege of hosting some incredible speakers. However, God blessed our March 2005 retreat in a special way when Dr. Bob Reccord was our main teacher.
Bob has been given a unique ability to communicate scriptural truths to men so that they are challenged with the nobility of biblical manhood. But what really impressed us was seeing Bob just “hanging out†with the guys after each session. It was refreshing to encounter a man who not only taught the Word in a powerful way, but then backed it up by being available to sit down with whoever needed a personal conversation. We will certainly be bringing Bob back to The Cove.
