Dear Bob and Cheryl,
My neice was the young woman that you have written about. My children and I would like to thank you for stopping and offering Michelle your hearts and prayers. She died on that day and I believe more peacefully due to your presence.
She had prepared for her departing in ways that were felt by her family a few weeks prior to her accident.
Again thank you for Spiritualism and Prayers with and for Michelle.
Sincerely,
Roberta Blumenthal

Bob and Cheryl, when I think of those who have impacted my life, both of you are at the top of the list, for being a wonderful, caring, compassionate pastor, and showing my beloved husband that other Christians can truly love you, for the many truths you shared from your heart every Sunday for praying with me when I truly thought there was no way God was hearing my prayer, for a trip to Israel that brought me closer to God than I have ever been. Cheryl the knowledge I gleamed from the Precept Classes you taught and the compassionate heart you have I will always be grateful that God caused our paths to cross. Thank you for your committment to winning the lost to Jesus. Cliff loved you so much and no one has ever admired you more than him. God bless you both and my love to your precious children

God bless you for teaching the men of First Baptist Naples how to become men of valor. Every man there was blessed by your no nonsense, biblical teaching straight from the Word of God with immediate life application. In fact many men began applying your teaching before the conclusion of the conference. And many more made plans to do so immediately afterwards. Your authenticity came through during each presentation. Men know when teachers aren't teaching from the heart. Your love for the men shined brightly. Thank you for your time and your talent.

Bob,
You were a great encouragement to the men and women who were with us in Kansas City. Your talks were challenging, Christ centered and gave hope to all that purity is possible. God is using you powerfully in His service and your ministry to the Men of Valor and their wives was clearly led by the Spirit.

Thanks Jamisson! Great word. Great input. I would say that it isnot just in politics, maybe even more prevalent there. I believe a close look would show very similar response in business, church, coaching, and probably many more not even mentioned here.

Great quote at the end. Is the originator of the quote Charles Colton...or Colson?

I could not agree more. Great catch and perspective on that movie.

When you're in charge and imperfect, you will disappoint people. You have to choose and execute on what you believe to be the right thing. None of us know the future. We make choices on what we know.

If people were more forgiving and less pharisaical, their leadership - particularly in politics, I think - would lead more sacrificially and more effectively. There's nothing in it - for the average politician - to make tough choices since the average American won't afford that same politician the grace and civility s/he's due.

“Honor is unstable and seldom the same; for she feeds upon opinion, and is as fickle as her food.” ~Charles Colton

Thanks Rick. What a rush to see men step up to the plate and be counted...and do what Scripture says, whether it's comfortable or not. It was great being with you. Thanks for the great leadership you give the business community in Kansas City. Blessings!

Bob, you did an awesome job last weekend. It was powerful to see hundreds of men stand and commit to go resolve relational issues and to forgive those who have hurt them. Keep up the great work!
